Comprehensive Adult ADHD Evaluations
If you’ve spent years struggling with attention, organization, procrastination, time management, or follow-through, you may find yourself wondering whether ADHD could be part of the picture. Many adults seeking an evaluation have developed successful careers, completed advanced education, or found ways to compensate for their difficulties, yet still feel that everyday tasks require far more effort than they should. Others may have been treated for anxiety, depression, or other concerns but continue to feel that something is missing.
A comprehensive adult ADHD evaluation goes beyond a screening questionnaire or single test. The evaluation considers your current concerns, developmental and childhood history, patterns of functioning across different settings, and the ways your symptoms may affect work, relationships, and daily life. It also considers other factors that can contribute to difficulties with attention and executive functioning, including anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep difficulties, and other psychological or cognitive concerns.
The goal is not simply to determine whether you have ADHD. It is to develop a clearer understanding of why you are experiencing the difficulties you’re experiencing and whether ADHD provides the best explanation. When appropriate, the evaluation may include standardized psychological and cognitive measures, review of relevant records, and information from other people who know you well. Your results are integrated into an individualized diagnostic formulation rather than interpreted in isolation.
At the conclusion of the evaluation, you will receive a comprehensive written report and a feedback session to review the findings, answer your questions, and discuss recommendations. Whether the evaluation confirms ADHD, identifies another explanation, or provides a more nuanced understanding of several contributing factors, the goal is to provide you with clarity, useful information, and a path forward.

Developmental/childhood history
